Anushka Sharma
Anushka is an actress and producer in Bollywood. She has won many acting awards and is among of the top-paid actors. She also serves as an ambassador for several companies and also has her own clothing line for women that is called Nush. Forbes Magazine featured her. Anushka Sharma is the youngest child of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on May 1, 1988. Anushka Sharma's father is an ex-colonel. Her mother is also a homemaker. Karnesh Singh, the brother of Anushka and film producer served as Merchant Navy. Anushka Sharma completed her schooling from Army School, Bangalore and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka has a doctorate in arts in economics. Anushka Sharma was not looking to become an actress. Instead and she hoped to be a model, or writer. Anushka completed her studies in Mumbai, enrolled at Elite Model Management. She received training from style expert Prasad Bidapa. Anushka was first seen as a model in the year 2017 for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week. He selected her to be his final model for the collection for Spring/Summer 2007. Anushka Sharma has been involved in several brand campaigns after her Lakme Fashion Week debut. These include campaigns in the name of Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma alongside her modelling career, attended an acting class and began giving auditions for films. Anushka Sharma made her film debut in 2008, with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She was in the film with Shah Rukh Khan. Anushka Sharma took one day to prepare for the screen test, and refused to perform an unplanned version. Later, she was signed to three movies by Yash Raj Films. The role she played was that of a bride who was young and married to a man of middle in age (the persona Shah Rukh Khan was portraying). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed with Shahid Kapoor, Vi Das as well as Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The film was met with mixed praise. In the same year, Anushka Sharma was seen in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' alongside Ranveer Singh, in which she played the role of a middle-class Punjabi girl who starts her own wedding-planning business. The film was well-received and became a sleeper. Anushka's three-film deal with Yash Raj Films ended with Band Baaja Baaraat.
